14CarriesAllen delivered a complete fantasy-winning script
Josh Allen controlled Buffalo’s victory with efficient passing and punishing designed or improvised rushing. He spread the ball effectively, avoided an interception, and supplied the scoring punch himself near the goal line. The result was an elite all-format performance built on both passing and rushing rather than a single long-play outlier.
02 / The takeaway
21CarriesAllen’s dual-threat ceiling set the game’s terms
Buffalo did not need Allen to chase volume for the sake of it. His passing was sharp enough to sustain the offense, and his rushing workload supplied a second layer Detroit could not solve. Allen played every Buffalo offensive snap, and his rushing contribution included repeated chain-moving plays as well as the touchdowns. His passing expected points also trailed his final fantasy return, illustrating how much of the eruption came from his finishing equity as a runner.
